Ingredients:
200 grams of Chowmein noodles
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup sliced capsicum (red or green)
1 cup sliced white cabbage
1 cup chopped spring onions
1/2 cup sliced green capsicum
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1/4th Cup of Gusto's Ready to Eat Chowmein Gravy
2 tablespoons cooking oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Cook the Chowmein Noodles: Boil water in a large pot. Add the Chowmein noodles and cook according to the package instructions or until they are al dente. Drain the noodles and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process. Toss them with a little oil to prevent sticking, and set them aside.
Prepare the Vegetables: Heat the cooking oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced carrots, capsicum (red or green), white cabbage, and mushrooms. Stir-fry these vegetables for about 3-4 minutes or until they start to become tender.
Add the Ready to Eat Chowmein Gravy: Add the packet of Gusto's Ready to Eat Chowmein Gravy to the stir-fried vegetables. Mix well to coat the vegetables evenly with the gravy.
Stir in the Spring Onions and Green Capsicum: Add the chopped spring onions and sliced green capsicum to the pan. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes, or until the vegetables are cooked to your liking. You can adjust the cooking time depending on how crunchy or soft you like your vegetables.
Season and Add the Noodles: Season the vegetable mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Then, add the cooked Chowmein noodles to the pan. Toss everything together until the noodles are well coated with the gravy and the vegetables are evenly distributed.
Serve: Transfer the Chowmein to serving plates or bowls, garnish with additional chopped spring onions if desired, and serve hot.
Enjoy your homemade Chowmein with Gusto's Ready to Eat Chowmein Gravy and a variety of colorful vegetables!
