Ingredients:
- 300 grams cooked jackfruit, shredded
- 1/3 cup Gusto's BBQ Sauce
- 3 tablespoons Gusto's Hot Pataka Sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Coleslaw:
- Thinly sliced carrots
- Thinly sliced red cabbage
- Fresh coriander, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup plain mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
- A drizzle of honey
For Assembling the Burger:
- Burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Optional: Sliced tomatoes, onions, and pickles
Instructions:
- Prepare the Pulled Pataka BBQ Jackfruit:
- In a pan, combine cooked and shredded jackfruit, Gusto's BBQ Sauce, Gusto's Hot Pataka Sauce, honey, salt, and pepper.
- Cook and stir over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until jackfruit is tender and the sauce thickens.
- Make the Coleslaw:
- In a large bowl, mix carrots, red cabbage, and coriander.
- In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and a drizzle of honey. Pour over the vegetables and toss.
- Assemble the Burger:
- Toast the burger buns.
- Place lettuce on the bottom bun.
- Add Pulled Pataka BBQ Jackfruit and coleslaw.
- Optionally- sliced tomatoes, onions, and pickles.
- Top with the other half of the bun.
