Ingredients:
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1.5 Tsp dry yeast
- 1/2 Tsp baking powder
- 2 Tsp sugar
- 1/4 Tsp salt
- 1/2 cup water
For chilli paneer:
- 2 tsp oil
- 2 tbsp garlic
- 1 tbsp green onion
- 1/2 cup capsicum
- 200 gms paneer cubes
- 1 tsp Gusto Dark Soy Sauce
- 2 tsp Gusto Chilli Vinegar
- 2 tsp Gusto Green Chilli Sauce
- 1 tbsp Gusto Red Chilli Sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, baking powder, sugar, salt and water. knead it into a dough. Cover and rest for 1-2 hours.
2. Shape the dough into balls, roll them out and fold them in half. Place the halves on a baking paper. Cover and proof for 20 mins.
3. Place the baos in a steamer for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked and fluffy.
4. For the chilli paneer- saute garlic and green onion in hot oil. Add in the capsicum and paneer cubes. Saute for 2-3 minutes. Add in all the Gusto food sauces. Mix well and cook for a minute more.
5. Take a bao, split it in half and layer it with sliced cabbage and carrots. Top it with the chilli paneer, garnish with spring onions. Enjoi hot!🫶
