Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- A pinch of salt (to taste)
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Gusto's Pancake Syrup
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, powdered sugar, baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Mix them well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and vanilla essence.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips into the pancake batter.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. You can add a little butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking if needed.
- Pour a ladleful of pancake batter onto the hot skillet. You can adjust the size of your pancakes according to your preference.
- Cook until you see bubbles forming on the surface of the pancake and the edges look set, usually about 2-3 minutes.
- Carefully flip the pancake with a spatula and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes or until it's golden brown on both sides and cooked through.
- Remove the pancake from the skillet and keep it warm. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
- Serve your delicious chocolate chip pancakes with a generous drizzle of Gusto's Pancake Syrup on top.
