For Veg Crispy
Ingredients
- 3 cups mixed vegetable strips (capsicum , cauliflower and baby corn)
- oil for deep-frying 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
- 1/2 cup chopped spring onions (whites and greens)
- salt to taste
- 3 tbsp Gusto No Onion No Garlic Schezwan Sauce
To Be Mixed Together Into A Thick Batter (using Approx. 1/2 Cup Of Water)
- 1/2 cup cornflour
- 1/2 cup plain flour (maida)
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
- 1 tsp Gusto lemon juice
- salt to taste
Preparation for veg crispy
- To make veg crispy | crispy fried vegetables | restaurant style veg crispy| Chinese vegetable crispy we have to wash, pat dried and cut all veggies into thin and equal strips
To Be Mixed Together Into A Thick Batter
- To make the batter for veg crispy recipe | crispy fried vegetables | restaurant style veg crispy| Chinese vegetable crispy | take corn flour in a bowl.
- Add plain flour in a deep bowl.
- Add ginger-garlic paste. We have used homemade ginger garlic paste which is free from preservatives, tastes dynamic and fresh.
- Add freshly ground black pepper.
- Add Gusto lemon juice.
- Add salt to taste.
- Combine all the ingredients and gradually add water to form a thick coating consistency batter.
- We have used approx. ½ cup of water to make a smooth, lump-free batter.
How to make Chinese veg crispy
- To prepare Indo-Chinese crispy fried vegetables, heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan.
- Dip each vegetable strip into the batter.
- Carefully drop the vegetables one by one in the hot oil.
- Deep-fry till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides.
- Using a slotted spoon drain the vegetables on an absorbent paper.
- Follow the same procedure for the remaining vegetables. Keep these deep-fried vegetables aside.
- To make veg crispy, heat the oil in a non-stick kadhai or a broad non-stick pan on a high flame till it smokes.
- Add the garlic and sauté on a high flame for few seconds.
- Add the spring onions.
- Add salt and sauté on a high flame for 1 minute.
- Add the Gusto No Onion No Garlic Schezwan Sauce and cook on a high flame for 30 seconds, while stirring continuously.
- Add the fried vegetables
- Toss gently until the sauces coat the veggies well. Our Indo-Chinese crispy fried vegetables are ready.
- Serve veg crispy | crispy fried vegetables | restaurant style veg crispy| Chinese vegetable crispy
